Teacher CPD Workshops Opportunity
We’re delighted to announce we will be leading a two-evening CPD workshop for drama teachers in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk this March at the New Wosley Theatre!
We will be delivering a physical, playful and inspiring two-part workshop offering insight into our creative process and style. This CPD is open to drama teachers based or working in schools across Essex, Norfolk or Suffolk.
As a recommended practitioner on various GCSE, A/AS Level and IB syllabuses, this workshop offers the rare opportunity to experience first-hand the tools we use to devise and create our visceral, poetic and provocative productions and how they can be used in your classroom.
This is a brilliant opportunity to expand your devising toolkit and support students as they create their own work in the lead-up to exam season!
What You’ll Experience
Across the two sessions, you will work directly with our Associate Director, Helen Baggett, in a safe and supportive space that invites you to physically embody our methodology, experience our unique movement language and deepen your understanding of our devising and creative process.
The workshop will include preparatory exercises, group discussion and practical techniques that can be taken straight back into the classroom. We will explore how to devise from a stimulus, layer and develop movement and ideas. We will use breath, language and explore emotional physicality.
You will move, have fun, express, feed your practice and connect with yourself and other local teachers through creative discovery.
